The play was dominated by the Comet/Warriors for most of the first period, but it wasn't until very late in the first period when the Comet/Warriors would be rewarded. The Comet/Warrior's Angelo Barnes scored on a pass from Aaron Mohnke. Comet/Warriors head to the locker room leading 1-0 after the first 17 minutes of play.

The second period again belonged to the Comet/Warriors as they added four goals in that period. Treven Fech scored with the assist going to Barnes. Drew Isaacson joined the frenzy and another assist for Barnes. The Comet/Warrior's forth goal of the game was awarded to Tyler Wise with assists going to Vince Gessler and Fech. The final goal of the period came from Jack Klingbiel with assists to Isaacson and Barnes. The score after 2 periods was Comet/Warriors 5, Panthers 0.

Something happened during the second intermission, because when the Panthers came out for the third period they looked like a different team. The Panthers would not be denied as they get an unassisted goal from Chad Beltman, followed up less then a minute later with a goal from Danny Matrosic, assisted by Alex Grosvenor and Reid Frescura. It seemed too little, too late for the Panthers as the Comet/Warriors added a final goal from Isaacson, unassisted and the Comet/Warriors go on to win this game 6-2. In net for the Panthers was Michael Ewing. Austin Hull was tending the goal for the Comet/Warriors. A three point night for Isaacson and a four point night for Barnes. Final: Grand Ledge/Waverly 6, Holland West Ottawa 2.

Grand Ledge/Waverly will take on Reeths Puffer in the Championship Game of the Andy Hanichen Thankgiving Tournament. The game time is 2pm Saturday, November 27, 2010 at Lakeshore Sports Centre.
